Hi, this is Rachel aka The Lady Hooper-Brackett. While life in the manor is idyllic, keeping busy and sharing my talents is also something I enjoy!

I love the Oxford comma and have been proofreading since 2020. My ideal client is an indie, self-published, or hybrid author that I can partner with to make each book as wonderful as possible.

I have completed over 75 manuscripts for a prolific, bestselling romance author and routinely edit websites, blog content, and other material for a variety of clients.

I provide not only proofreading but light fact-checking and editing suggestions. My preferred genres are historical romance and YA fiction but I am open to others, as well.

My rates are industry standard and I pride myself on meeting deadlines to ensure a smooth publishing process for authors.
